Advertisement for the Post of Project Engineer Lead: Multi-Domain Software

The Vishlesan I-Hub Foundation, Indian Institute of Technology Patna, invites applications from motivated and qualified candidates for the position of Project Engineer Lead: Multi-Domain Software. The appointment shall be for a period of 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

About the Role

The selected candidate will be responsible for technology development projects within ongoing R&D and translational projects at IIT Patna. The position demands strong expertise in Healthcare, Pharma, cloud migrations, and implemented cybersecurity frameworks.

Essential Technical Skills

Candidates must possess demonstrated experience in the following areas:

• Datacenter infrastructure and related management experience.

• SDWAN

• Cloud- Azure, M365

• Compliances-PCI-DSS, HIPAA

• IT Security-IDS, CISCO Firewalls

• AWS IoT Core integration and related services

• Project Management Certifications: ITIL

• Proficiency in technologies- Juniper, CISCO, Websense, VMWare

Minimum Requirements

• Field experience: At least 10 years of relevant industry or research experience

• Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years as on the date of application

Desirable Experience

• Sensor design, integration, and calibration

• Hardware debugging and firmware validation

• Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring in PCB design, hardware development, or IoT systems

Educational Qualifications

• B.Tech/BSc/Masters. in Computer Science & related fields

Note: Exceptional candidates with strong field experience may be considered even if the above academic requirements are not strictly met.

Selection Process

Formal Online Interview 

Consolidated Salary

₹1,50,000 per month (all-inclusive)

Tenure

12 months, extendable based on project needs and satisfactory performance
