We are happy to announce that the Vishlesan Innovative Ideas contest (VIIC-2022) in conjunction with ANTIC-2022 conference is going to be organized by the Department of Computer Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in collaboration with Technical Innovation Hub, Indian Institute of Technology Patna (TIH, IIT Patna).

IIT Patna Vishlesan I-Hub Foundation with domains Speech, Video and Text Analytics is a section 8 company founded at IIT Patna, which aims to create a strong and seamless ecosystem for leveraging the potential and exponential growth of interdisciplinary cyber physical systems (ICPSs) under Department of Science & Technology (DST).

Objective:

This contest is to give an opportunity to highly innovative ideas for the start-up at TIH, IIT Patna with funding up to 30 Lakh.

Eligibility:

Teams of up to 4 members (Indian citizens only) are eligible. Multidisciplinary ideas are strongly encouraged to apply.

Highlights of the contest:

Call for innovative ideas are open in the areas of Speech, Text and Video analysis, AI & IoT, Drone & counter drone technologies, Point Care Diagnostics, Embedded systems, Nanotechnologies, Civil & Defense Cyber Security, RF & Telematics.
All the shortlisted ideas will be invited for the presentation.
The best three ideas would be awarded with rewards.
One best idea can be further supported financially for the start-up up to 30 Lakh.

Submission:

Every innovative idea will be submitted in the form of presentation as per the prescribed format with voice notes (if required), download by clicking below

Only selected ideas will be called for the presentation and demonstration.

Evaluation Criteria:

Each project will be executed by three reviewers.
The evaluation will be mainly based on the following key points: innovation, societal contribution, technology adopted, cost incurred and its commercial implications.

Expected Outcome:

Every shortlisted team will be expected to come up with an innovative solution as per the problem statement chosen.
Shortlisted teams will be invited to present their solution during the conference. They are also welcomed to demonstrate the working prototype.

Prize:

Top three trailblazing ideas which aim at bringing in a revolution shall be awarded with attractive prizes.

1st prize: Rs. 40,000/- 2nd Prize: Rs. 30,000/- 3rd Prize: Rs. 20,000/-
